Necktwister to re-release AxamentA’s “Ever-Arch-I-Tech-Ture” on vinyl and new EP “Spires”

Necktwister is thrilled to announce the addition of Symphonic Death/black metal legends Axamenta to the family! AxamentA is a Belgian Symphonic blackened progressive metal band that gained an underground cult status with the release of their widely praised album “Ever-Arch-I-Tech-Ture” in 2006, an intricate concept album containing 13 tracks of blackened progressive metal, substantiated by a massive sounding symphonic orchestra, giving the entire album its eerie, cinematic atmosphere. Sparing no effort, the album was recorded at Jacob Hansen Studio, mixed and mastered at Studio Fredman and featured none other than Pain of Salvation’s Daniel Gildenlöw on guest vocals. The commitment of the band paid off. The album was re-released in Japan, the famous Dutch “Aardschok” magazine proclaimed “Ever-Arch-I-Tech-Ture” as the first ever Belgian “Album of the month”, AxamentA played Graspop Metal Meeting twice, pulled crowded venues everywhere and share the stage with all the legends of metal. Belgian modern/nu-metal band Mantah release second new single "The Enemy"

In 2018, Bart Vandeportaele left Spoil Engine after an eight year run. During his time in Spoil Engine he performed at Wacken, Graspop, Summer Breeze, Pukkelpop, AB and many more. In the years since, he has been focused on writing songs in his home studio without any limitations. Vandeportaele began working with vocalist Sven Herssens (Fields of Troy) to find the distinct sound they were aiming for: heavy, pounding music with catchy, diverse vocals and melodies. In the fall of 2020, Bert Nauwynck (Diecast Unit), Lothar Ryheul (Fields of Troy) and Dennis Wyffels (Lethal Injury / Bloodrocuted) joined the project and pushed the songs to a higher level. As they were writing and rehearsing this new project, the monster became real, and it was clear that they would be able to take these songs into the recording studio and on stage! MANTAH was born! This grouping of skilled musicians grew up on bands like Korn, Linkin Park, and Slipknot. The influence of 90’s nu-metal is heard throughout th

Belgian metallers Primal Creation Release Lyric Video For The First Single From Upcoming Album 'News Feed'

On March 5th 2021 Belgian metal band Primal Creation launched a lyric video for the first single of their upcoming album 'News Feed', to be released April 16th. Check out the video for the song 'Please Disperse' below: https://youtu.be/BS2Hpr3kSJE This 4-minute modern thrash metal banger takes no prisoners – uptempo riffage collides with a catchy chorus and aggressive vocals. Please Disperse takes the lid off the anticipated upcoming album. Thematically, the track is about narcissistic bullies taking the world stage to promote their own perverted agenda. Frontman Koen comments : We are known for not beating around the bush when it comes to our lyrical themes. Rest assured, this new track is no trend breaker! If you’re into melodic, yet fast and aggressive metal, this song should be right up your alley. Primal Creation consists of five persistent men playing metal the way they see fit. The band found its current stable line-up in 2014 and self-released their debut fu

Belgian Stoner/Progressive/ Metal/Rock band BufferState releases debut music video for 'Archean'

Belgian Stoner/Progressive/ Metal/Rock band BufferState releases its very first music video. The song this video is about is called “Archean”, taken from their first EP 'Anthropy' which came out on Nov 10th 2018 as an Independent Release. The video for “Archean” can be found here: https://youtu.be/76EOUuPiHxY Together with Josse de Maesschalk(aka WAANZIN), BufferState has now released their first music video. The song is an archetype of the band’s very particular, uncompromising sound. The lyrical theme is aggressive at first sight, very militaristic and us-versus-them. Having most fun when being creative, the story has been rewritten from scratch to the same theme for this video. Still, the images of the video match the feeling of the original lyrics and, of course, the flow of the song. BufferState is extremely proud of this cooperation with the up-and-coming movie talent of Josse de Maesschalk(aka WAANZIN). Creativity, community, engaging with other artists
