Weesp Announces New Acoustic Album 'Crystal Clean Waters'

Rock band Weesp have announced the release of their first acoustic album “Crystal Clean Waters” o n 11 September.  The album will include 7 tracks from the previous albums (The Void and Black Sails) played with acoustic instruments, and two tracks that were recorded live during the presentation of the Black sails album in Minsk. The name of the upcoming album refers to the crystal-clear sound of the acoustic instruments. Weesp also promises to include a video, featuring the band playing a few of the new songs. Weesp Release New Single 'Who We Are'

Rock-metal band Weesp are not stopping: after treating their fans-sailors with two singles from the upcoming album “Black Sails” they have released one more single “Who We Are” on March 15th. The song combines both a melodic and powerful sound and will perfectly reflect the new sound of Weesp. As always, the song turned out to be very personal and contains certain emotions that the guys reflected through their music. According to the band, “Who We Are” is a story about finding your own path and realizing that present, the exact moment of where we are and who we are matters the most. As well in addition to the single Weesp promises to release an official music video after the single is released. So join the band under their sails and together with them leave for an emotional, exciting and challenging journey of revealing your true self. Weesp Release New Video Single 'Not Over'

Alt Rockers Weesp from Minsk have released their new single “Not Over” taken from their upcoming “Black Sails” album. The band is performing alternative post-metal, with clean vocals (not this time as we can see). Even though we’ve already got the taste of their new music with the band’s latest release “illumination”, ‘Not Over” turned out to be a real surprise for Weesp fans-sailors. “Not Over” is about the endless struggle with darkness. With the darkness that lives inside each of us. And in the end it’s about accepting that darkness, coexisting with it, controlling it, making friends with it. That is what gives us strength not to get crazy in that world. Weesp Announce Next Single 'Not Over' Release

Alternative post-metal band Weesp from Belarus has announced its next single release, which will be on February 16 The single is called “Not Over” and guys are promising it’s going to be one of the most heavy sounding songs in the discography of the band. Weesp has released its latest single “illumination” on December 24 and guys are already giving more of their new sound to their fans-sailors. The upcoming single is included in the “Black Sails” longplay album, which is planned to be released at the end of February. “Not Over” is about the endless struggle with darkness. INTERVIEW: Weesp (Belarus)

Electronic alt rock/metal act Weesp hail from Minsk, Belarus and have been delivering their crushing and energetic music since their inception in 2008. In 2015 they finally unleashed their debut album 'The Void' which featured the likes of Cory Brandan from Norma Jean and highlighted them as a band to firmly watch. Luckily their anticipated sophomore release 'Black Sails' is soon to reach our shores and they have already given us a taste of what to expect with some teaser videos (you can view below, with more on the way soon). I caught up with bassist Dmitry (Mi) Budko after their recent tour to discuss their history, the new album and more... Can you tell us about your formation in 2008? We all met together a long time ago, in school years.
