Legendary Leeds-based metal festival GHOSTFEST have dropped their killer second wave of bands for the festival's 2025 edition, taking place on 21st June, 2025 at Leeds University Union. Joining the already killer line-up of bands such as Humanity's Last Breath, Signs Of The Swarm, Desolated & much more, we have:
Returning death metal legends Ingested, who serve as the festival's third headliner.
Iconic metalcore outfit Heart Of A Coward, also returning after serving as a staple band for the festival in previous editions.
New-school beatdown/geezacore pioneers Pintglass, who will be bringing the GTHC spirit to GHOSTFEST for the very first time.
Hardcore outfit Demoraliser, for a very special reunion set, performing Reform. Repent. Revenge. in full.
And lastly, deathcore newcomers Veiled, who join the festival following the release of their debut album, SE/CT, in late 2024.
The festival's 2025 edition and long-awaited return also serves as its 20th anniversary edition, with the festival having platformed many artists, both up-and-coming and already legendary, over its original run from 2005-2015.
Seeking to not only mark the return of such a venerated name in the festival space, but also put Leeds back on the map as a prime location for metal fans, GHOSTFEST is looking to reestablish the pedigree the city once deservedly held within the genre.
Further, the festival's focus on embracing their past as well as valiantly looking forward to the future cements this notion, platforming up-and-coming acts with slots alongside legendary bands that were once staples of the festival, providing a sense of nostalgia to those who once attended, as well as enticing those who may have never had the chance to experience it.
Tickets for the festival are on sale now, with the festival's early bird tickets having sold out in just four minutes. With the promise of more bands to come, too, including another to-be-announced reunion set, the return of GHOSTFEST for its 20th anniversary is looking to be bigger and better than ever.
