OUTBREAK FEST ANNOUNCES INITIAL LINE UP FOR 2025

Initially beginning as a celebration of hardcore and punk, Manchester’s Outbreak Fest has built a major platform to the UK’s consistently thriving counterculture, while also providing a rite of passage for major touring acts across the world such as Death Grips, Earl Sweatshirt, JPEGMAFIA and more to lay waste to stages in Britain. After announcing their plans to come to London for the very first time, Outbreak Fest today announce initial line ups and locations for their London and Manchester 2025 weekender events. Starting with a one-day event in London’s Victoria Park as part of LIDO Festival series on the 13th June, this will be the biggest outdoor event led by hardcore acts that the UK’s ever had. London will play host to a varying line up that continues to push Outbreak’s ethos of boundary-breaking music from across the counterculture; from contemporary icons to burgeoning stars of the future.

In London, hardcore crossover icons Turnstile will finally return for a one-off UK exclusive headline show, bringing with them a full discography of anthems from over a decade of operating at the pinnacle of the genre. Alongside them will be Pennsylvania born alternative star Alex G, Kentucky metallic hardcore heroes Knocked Loose, off-kilter Detroit rap mainstay Danny Brown, Aria Award winning Australian crew SPEED, emo legends Sunny Day Real Estate, returning atmospheric-grunge titans Superheaven as well as new age shoegaze acts julie and Fleshwater. They’ll be joined by the likes of Drug Church, Model/Actriz, They Are Gutting a Body of Water, Feeble Little Horse, Have A Nice Life, Kumo 99 and Have A Nice Life across four stages, with way more artists to be announced.

London will be followed by a two-day event at their usual home of Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester on the 14th and 15th, playing host to Knocked Loose & Alex G, this time playing their own very special headline slots, being joined by shoegaze giants Slowdive for a North of England festival exclusive headline set of their own. They’ll be joined by Danny Brown, SPEED, Drug Church, Model/Actriz, Momma, Feeble Little Horse, Have A Nice Life, Kumo 99 and Fleshwater in performing double duty across cities. The Manchester weekender will also play host to more exclusives, with Floridian rap dynamo Denzel Curry following up on a rapturously received 2023 set, Grammy-nominated atmospheric black metal pioneers Deafheaven, a long awaited first Outbreak showing for metallic hardcore bruisers Gods Hate, LA alternative stars Militarie Gun, UK hardcore representatives Impunity, Ikhras and Splitknuckle and Missouri indie/post-hardcore favourites Foxing. This is alongside Sunami, Pain Of Truth, SPY, Gouge Away, Rocket, Tigers Jaw and many more still to be added.

Tickets for both events go on sale HERE this Friday 29 November, with pre-sale available to those who signed up to the Outbreak mailing list on Thursday 28 November at 10am GMT. With Outbreak Fest’s popularity growing rapidly over its 13 year existence, 2025’s edition finds a way for the event to expand even further; opening its community to England’s capital in a very special, authentic way, while ensuring that its flagship event maintains its place as the counterculture’s #1 event in the live music calendar.
