Finnish modern metal band COUNTLESS GOODBYES present their fifth and final single ‘PAGES AND CHAPTERS’ ahead of the release of their highly anticipated sophomore, full-length album ‘LOST IN WAVES’ which is set to be released on 25th October via Prime Collective.
‘PAGES AND CHAPTERS’ is an introspective and emotionally charged single capturing the band’s signature blend of intensity and lyrical depth, while offering powerful reflections on personal growth and transformation. Lead vocalist Onni Kivikaarre explains, “‘PAGES AND CHAPTERS’ is a reminder that we are individuals. It holds a yearning, a silent wish that maybe we could start again. What if we could rewrite our beginnings? What if we could pull up those roots and plant ourselves in new soil, reshaping who we are? While we can’t change where we started, we can choose how to grow from it, molding our future even as our roots remain.”
COUNTLESS GOODBYES burst onto the scene with their debut album ‘Cycles’ in 2019, which quickly propelled them into the spotlight. The album debuted at #2 on the official Finnish physical record sales chart and reached #17 on the official Finnish album chart. The band’s energetic live shows, coupled with their powerful sound, have left audiences at sold-out clubs and festivals in awe. Over the years, they have shared stages with renowned metal acts such as Asking Alexandria and August Burns Red, among others.
With their full-length album ‘LOST IN WAVES’ slated for October 25th, anticipation is growing for this next chapter in the band's journey. The album was written and composed by Onni Kivikaarre, André Rodriguez and produced by Rami Nykänen. Post-production was expertly handled by Joakim Karlsson of Bad Omens, with the album's choirs arranged by Kat Marsh and Choir Noir (known for their work with Bring Me The Horizon, While She Sleeps, Architects). The final touches of mixing and mastering were entrusted to the award-winning Henrik Udd (Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, Dimmu Borgir). Fans can expect a polished, high-energy production that has been honed by experienced hands.
