  Орендъ (Orenda in English) is a musical project from Sofia, Bulgaria, that produces metal versions of Bulgarian folk songs. The band released their debut album "Maksul" in 2020 and played some concerts around the country to promote it. In 2022, amidst the war in Ukraine, they decided to stand up for the Ukrainian people and launched a crowdfunding campaign for all Ukrainian refugees in Bulgaria by releasing a cover version of a Ukrainian folk song. Now, they are about to launch their sophomore album. They have just released the first single from the new album with a video called "Pustono ludo i mlado" which translates in English means "Wild, crazy and young" and it's another folk song.   Norwegian black metallers 1349 and Danish one-man project Afsky have been revealed as the next band confirmations for the 2025 edition of Fortress Festival. 1349 will headline the main stage on Saturday, 31 May 2025, following the release of their eighth studio album "The Wolf And The King” on 4 October 2024 via Season Of Mist. The band was formed in 1997 by Ravn, who recruited bassist Seidemann and now-former guitarist Tjalve to help him pursue the vision of recapturing the original spirit of black metal.
