Teenage Trio ASHES OF BILLY Release New Single

Introducing the teenage trio who are making waves in their home country of Denmark. ASHES OF BILLY (ages14,15,16) may be young, but they deliver a sound well beyond their years with a blend of rock tinged with nostalgic hints of the Seattle 90’s grunge scene.

Since forming in 2022, the young trio has self-released two EP’s - ‘Playdate’ in 2022 and ‘The Right Place’ in 2023, with their single ‘Shamed’ in rotation on national radio in Denmark as well as being featured as Classic Rock Magazine’s ‘Tracks of The Week’.

“‘Feel You Around’ can be characterized as one of our more experimental songs. The song explores many different genres and is made up of many different parts and sections. The mix of genres goes hand in hand with the song lyrics, which are about difficult, conflicting, and confusing emotions that surround you and feel like they are trying to take control of you. Whether it's anger, sadness, love, hate, or something completely different.”

The trio is now gearing up for the release of their EP ‘Obscene’, which is produced, mixed and mastered by renowned producer Tue Madsen (BABYMETAL, Behemoth, Meshuggah).

“The direction of the EP shows where we wanna go with our sound. We always try to do new things, and try to better ourselves. We are still very young, and we still try to experiment with a lot of different styles of music and musical elements. With that being said, our EP is about growing up, and all the different things you experience while growing up. These are shared experiences that many of us encounter at various points in our lives, and we're delighted to share some of ours with you. We hope that listeners can relate to our songs since it's one of the main reasons we make music. Crafting this EP has been an incredible journey, and we're eagerly looking forward to showing everyone what's next”
