Award nominated independent rock and metal festival, Takedown Festival has today unveiled the day splits and stage times of the 2024 edition and announced nine more artists confirmed to play the festival.
Joining the line-up will be London mathcore masters Pupil Slicer who will be performing their critically acclaimed new album ‘Blossom’ in full, UK nu-metal star Deijuvhs, Acres, The Hara, Calva Louise, Blanket, Harbinger, Lastelle, and Sumer.
The announcement of day splits and stage times has revealed that Creeper will be headlining the Laney Stage on the Saturday, just after nu-gen star Cassyette takes to the stage. The Saturday line-up also sees Kid Kapachi headlining the Total Rock Stage, Graphic Nature closing the ‘Metal For Good’ stage and Mimi Barks topping the ‘Divergent’ stage. On the Sunday, Dinasaur Pile-Up will the closing the festival as headliners of the Laney Stage, Terrorvision will be concluding to Total Rock Stage, Pupil Slicer take on the ‘Metal For Good’ stage with URNE topping the ‘Divergent’ stage.
Not only are Takedown Festival today announcing more artists performing in 2024 but they are also proud to share the news that Sophie K and Yasmine Summan of 'On Wednesday We Wear Black' will be the main stage comperes throughout the weekend.

After an 8 year hiatus, the legendary festival made a comeback in 2023 with last years headliners Sleep Token and Skindred. The festival moved from its Southampton University roots to the larger Portsmouth Guildhall to become one of the biggest rock events in the festival calendar once again. Takedown Festival’s comeback is part of a new partnership between Divergent Festivals and The Guildhall Trust.
The incredible return for Takedown Festival has been topped off having now been nominated for Best Small Festival, Best Metropolitan Festival and the Grassroots Festival Awards at 2023's UK Festival Awards.
