Hailing from Ireland and initially conceived in 2020 as a recording project by guitarist Tristan Carroll, and vocalist Maximillion Foy, CELL GAMES have been making their mark on the Irish metal scene since 2022. Completed by Tonči Vrdoljak on drums and Deb Finn-O'Brien on bass, the nu-metalcore rapscallions take cues from Linkin Park, Korn, Disturbed, and Slipknot, and have managed to cleverly mark a fresh imprint on the nu-metal genre.
CELL GAMES have picked up acclaim for a glut of well-received singles and have been praised for their buoyant energy in a successful run of live performances, all serving to increase the band’s army of followers and budding fanbase. The unstoppable four-piece will charge further ahead with their engrossing new single, Jailbreak. The song is a burly slice of alternative metal infused with monstrous riffs, fervent energy, and a plethora of hooks. Guitarist and Vocalist, Tristan Carroll, remarks: "Jailbreak started life as a Maximillion Foy hip hop track. The song leant itself to being reworked into a nu-metal banger with loops and big, bouncy riffs. Tonči and Deb really lifted the song from good to great with some really cool rhythmic things that go in directions you wouldn't think of immediately.”
CELL GAMES have a slew of engaging content on the way and will tour throughout Ireland for the remainder of 2023 and into the new year. Stay tuned to their social sites for constant updates.
