One Dimensional Creatures Release Second Single 'Bleed The Markets'

One Dimensional Creatures, aka One Dimes, are a four-piece alternative punk/postpunk/grunge band based in Greater Manchester, UK. Ste Wilson (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Chris Tighe (lead guitar), Ollie Chapman (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Adam Heap (drummer & beat maker). Ste, Chris, and Ollie have been friends since high school. During lock-down Ste wrote loads of songs about UK life and politics. When Ollie moved back 'up-north' from London the three met up for a post-lock-down pint. After hearing demos of Ste's tracks they decided to form a band and One Dimensional Creatures was born. In June 2023, after months of searching, the band struck gold and found a drummer in Adam Heap and the four piece was finally complete.

In 2023 One Dimensional Creatures released their debut single, Media Mass, on 28th June, with radio play on a number of shows/stations including Future Hits Radio, Hive Radio UK's 'Independent Music Show', Wayne Moseley's 'The Beautiful Indie Show' on Hive Radio UK, Unsigned With Matt Wherry, Radio Wigwam, Noisebox Radio, and Lonely Oak Radio. Media Mass will feature on One Dimensional Creatures' upcoming, yet to be named, album. The distorted guitar driven track focuses on the power and influence the media has over society and the effects of modern covert propaganda. Their second single 'Bleed The Markets' is set for release on 6th September 2023. They've played a few gigs around Greater Manchester and are supporting The Glass Skies on their UK tour in Stoke-On-Trent on 16th September with more gigs to come.

'BLEED THE MARKETS' is the second single from One Dimensional Creatures and was released on the 6th of September 2023 on streaming and download platforms. The track bursts into your ears with its driving distorted bassline and angry guitars. The punk-infused lyrics speak of governments that don't listen to their people. In true punk style, One Dimensional Creatures rip through the song at speed, it reaches its gritty climax in less than 2 minutes with a furious scream of 'now bleed!' from lead singer Ste. It already has confirmed radio play from numerous stations and will launch to social media campaigns and live play at gigs.
