Leeds based post-hardcore newcomers, EXTS have today shared their new single ‘Happening’. The relentless new single features on the band’s debut EP ‘The Fragile Space Between’ which is also out now. Stream the EP right HERE.
‘Happening’ is a fresh take on the post-hardcore genre but also has a certain nod towards the nostalgia of the early 2000s, which was the era that shaped the band’s sound. The frantic musical energy & powerful vocals of “Happening” perfectly encapsulates the whole sentiment of the debut E.P ‘The Fragile Space Between’
“The lyrics for Happening capture the emotion of how overwhelming life events can feel and the uncertainty that they bring: “Is the end of the tunnel closed?”
Moreover, it’s about the pursuit of finding light in suffocating darkness in times of real need yet being resolute in the face of adversity - as time inevitably marches forth… ticking away.”
- Vocalist, Jack Flynn.
