So first things first, how did you come up with your band name and what is the story behind it? The name "Broken Glow" was stumbled upon as we pored through lyric sheets of bands we were influenced by. We'd had a hard time coming up with a name, and after trying strange brainstorming tactics, random word generators and everything else we could think of, we turned to Led Zeppelin and The Beatles for inspiration. Great band name, is this referring to Shutter Island? Can you tell us a bit about it and how you arrived at this? For sure! And thank you - the title is indeed a reference to Shutter Island. To tell you the truth, the name sort of came about one day while the band was in its early stages. It’s a favourite movie of mine, and the name honestly just stuck straight away haha - I kind of threw it out there as suggestion to our guitarist Dylan and he was like, yep - that’ll do. Expedition Delta is a project from multi-talented and successful Serbian heavy metal artist, Srdjan Brankovic, best know for being in big power metal band, AlogiA . Srdjan is a guitarist, songwriter and producer and has worked with many other Serbian bands. In this new album Srdjan is united with old friends, as well as introducing some new ones: from Bobby Koelble (Death) ‘til Santiago Dobles again, from Nicola di Già (Banco del MutuoSoccorso) ‘til IP Maestro, and old and new members from AlogiA. The entire album sees the powerful Nikola Mijic take on lead vocals, with help from Andjela Isic providing beautiful vocals that compliment Nikola's tones brilliantly.
