I don't know about you, but sometimes the music just needs to speak for itself, and it doesn't even matter if you don't understand the lyrics..as much as I would like to understand Italian, unfortunately I don't, but that doesn't mean you can't admire and appreciate the debut EP from Milan alt rock act Mataleon!... Opening song and first single, 'Atari' has very impressive guitar throughout, and demanding energetic vocals, all moulded together wonderfully to make a very catchy and head bang worthy track! Apologies in advance before you read this. I'm not usually one to do this sort of thing, so I hope I can be forgiven and that you can bear with me for this special/different post, which isn't just related to music, but I have cunningly combined two things I feel very passionate about!..Music and helping to promote/raise money for charity. Again I don't like to put my heart out there, but I feel I need to, in order to help my cause and motivate myself..I haven't been very active on my site lately, as I sadly lost my mother recently who encouraged and supported my work, (who by the way had great taste in music - such as Metallica, HIM, Shinedown, Halestorm, Billy Idol ect) who passed away from something called, Septicemia or Sepsis for short, which is a whole-body inflammatory response to an infection. Common signs and symptoms include fever, increased heart rate, increased breathing rate, and confusion. It may not sound life threatening, but unfortunately if not detected...
