Following on from the success of this year's Mammothfest back in August, which featured headliners, Savage Messiah and Martyr Defiled along with support from Meta-Stasis, Ingested, Abhorrent Decimation, Mask Of Judas, Collisions, No Sin Evades His Gaze and many many more mighty metal offerings, comes news about the next epic Mammothfest 2015 which is massive in comparison to this year's event, as it will be held over 3 days at 3 venues due to overwhelming support!       It’s a Sunday Night and many of us will have work in the morning but that’s not stopping us from packing out the venue at Concorde 2 in Brighton where a mass of pirates have descended to witness Alestorm’s Piratefest.. The first support act Red Rum , are such a superb and appropriate band to support the mighty swash buckling scallywag’s that are Alestorm! Sometimes the first support band doesn’t grab the crowd’s attention, but Red Rum didn’t suffer this fate! They had the crowd dancing, singing and stomping their feet like they were crew on the decks of a drunken pirate party! This six piece neoclassical pirate metal band from East Midlands showed Brighton a hell of a good and hearty time, especially with their brilliant Lord Of The Rings rendition which fitted in nicely with their set!       This three piece instrumental act from New York have put in a lot of effort to form their own unique sound by using elements of rock, jazz and experimentalism, and now they are back with their follow up to their trilogy "Space”, which was the first in a three-album trilogy, with the second ‘piece’ of the puzzle, “CORE” to untangle more creativity from the band..   Opening song, “Rocks” has a hopeful feel to it before sliding into a plethora of carefully constructed melodies and tones which help unravel a story solely through the use of clever instrumentation.
